If the tracing of the kayak'south series number doesn't come out..a well detailed printed motion-picture show may be acceptable.
I had a bill of auction (the invoice from the dealer); and I had the brand new MSO...(which IMHO every yak possessor out to get because some day you lot or a future possessor might want to add a trolling motor onto the yak) ..
The upshot that I ran into when I went to register my slightly over ONE MONTH onetime RIDE, was paying the sales tax. Since I bought it from an out of State dealer, no sales taxation was charged. I had to pay the sales tax, in addition to the other registration fees...AND...I had to pay a Tardily FEE (because I didn't register information technology immediately upon buy.)
I also had to pay interest on the late payment! The interest was only a few pennies, but if it had been a couple of years after my original purchase, the tardily fees and involvement might have been substantial.
If you recently purchased your yak and accept a bill of sale; and the MSO..you may be able to make full out the forms at the TPWD office, as I did. In fact, the young lady filled them in for me.

p.south. If the yak had been previously registered, then the MSO is not needed, since information technology was provided on the original registration.
